Tokyo Auto Salon: The HPI Hakosuka

A raw take on the 1972 Nissan Skyline “Hakosuka” by HPI. The L28 motor has been reworked to a 3.1L with the use of Komechi pistons and Tomei cams. To top it off, gold Solex carbs help the engine produce an output of 320hp. The boldest take? Custom carbon-fiber bumpers, fenders, flares and a huge diffuser. The impressive spec-sheet is beefed up with the use of a Ferrari F50-spec rotors matched with Brembo calipers. Hoping to cross paths with this car again soon for a full feature.
